We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

The following year, Hopeworks plans to place 100 young adults in permanent full-time jobs, with an impact of $4.3M in additional wages to families and the local economy.
Not only will we place those young adults, but our trauma-informed approach and intensive wraparound support means that we will work with young adults who really need the opportunity, not just young adults who present as “ready” or the “best candidates.”
We know from our experience in Camden that our approach can have a dramatic impact on people’s lives and on poverty. We are excited to bring this approach and energy to Kensington alongside our local partners.
