We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

CAIR-Philadelphia works to end the discrimination and structural violence their communities face by developing new leaders who can develop and lead social justice campaigns.
CAIR-Philadelphia’s mission is to enhance understanding of Islam, protect civil rights, promote justice, and empower American Muslims. They believe America’s greatness comes from the endless opportunities for all of her citizens and that this greatness is maintained through active civic participation, and that advocacy through the American Muslim experience is advocacy for a better America. They believe that American Muslim life can and must be better, more equitable and more engaging.
CAIR-Philadelphia’s vision is to be a leading advocate for justice and mutual understanding. They work toward a future where both Muslim Americans and all communities live in peace and equity in full recognition of their inalienable rights and cultural diversity.
Their theory of change centers building power in Muslim American communities that they have worked with for the past 20 years. They work to end the discrimination and structural violence their communities face by developing new leaders who can develop and lead social justice campaigns. Today, they are focused on defense but envision a future where they will pivot to building a positive agenda with like minded allies from across the faith and non-faith spectrum.
