We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Black Muslim Men United for A Better Philadelphia (BMMU) will use the Program Grant award to fund our “Just Say Yes” campaign. This new program will focus on Primary Drug Prevention targeting kids in grades 1-5. We believe Being giving these kids in the 19132 and 19140 zip codes a chance at saying YES to God, Education, Success, and Justice BEFORE being torn apart possibly by their circumstances, is the goal. Making them aware that this Drug use, and the role it plays potentially in their lives is detrimental. By educating, motivating, and supporting them to make better choices for themselves, thus by investing in themselves at a young age and preparing them for a better future. BMMU will provide “Just Say Yes” in school presentations in the 19132 and 19140 zip codes, for grades 1-5. We will host Saturday Workshops reinforcing the in school presentations in a engaging, fun and safe environment. Thru the summer months, organized professional Roller Skate and Golf Clinics will be provided, allowing Participants to develop their cognitive and social skills in a structured, but fun setting. “Just Say Yes” Participants will receive merchandise give aways as well as gift cards as incentives to stay consistent and committed.
