to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Kensington Soccer Club's Active Community Spaces and Bright Futures program will continue our commitment to using soccer as a vehicle for social good by expanding programming to those who need it most and creating full-time roles for the Intervention and Prevention Coordinator and Community Engagement Coordinator.
Kensington Soccer Club’s Active Community Spaces and Bright Futures program builds on activities the organization has been successfully developing since 2010. We will continue our commitment to using soccer as a vehicle for social good by expanding programming to those who need it most and creating full-time roles for the Intervention and Prevention Coordinator and Community Engagement Coordinator.
At the heart of the program is the understanding that safe spaces for individuals most affected by the opioid epidemic are absolutely crucial. We know that these spaces, where youth and young adults can be themselves, interact positively with peers and authority figures, and not worry about their safety, are an incredibly important protective factor against the many societal harms that plague the community.
KSC reaches those who need it most by running on a pay-what-you-can model, meaning that nobody is ever turned away. We believe that opportunities should be available to every single youth in the city, and we run programs that use soccer as a vehicle for positive social change, combining prevention and intervention efforts as well as connections to community based services. With the addition of a full-time Intervention and Prevention Coordinator and Community Engagement Specialist, KSC will be able to bolster its programming in these areas as well as reach even more people in the communities we serve.
