We fund organizations and projects which disrupt our current behavioral health space and create impact at the individual, organizational, and societal levels.
Our participatory funds alter traditional grantmaking by shifting power
to impacted communities to direct resources and make funding decisions.
We build public and private partnerships to administer grant dollars toward targeted programs.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

One of our major goals is to preserve the rich cultural tradition of Bomba and Plena music and dance from Puerto Rico.
One of our major goals is to preserve the rich cultural tradition of Bomba and Plena music and dance from Puerto Rico. The best way to preserve this tradition is to receive more exposure and build community amongst all especially in the young and growing Latino population which we have been doing for the past 10+ years. Connecting and educating our neighbors on this rich vibrant social music from the island is a way for everyone to understand the diverse cultures we all have but also the similarities we all share. This grant will support our work by giving us an opportunity to share this amazing event and cultural exchange which will have the community asking about the next one.
