Our annual $25,000 prize is awarded to a cutting-edge idea that holds the potential to catalyze progress in behavioral health.
Our participatory grantmaking alters the traditional process of philanthropic giving by empowering service providers and community-based organizations to define the strategy around a specific issue area or population.
We provide funds at below-market interest rates that can be particularly useful to start, grow, or sustain a program, or when results cannot be achieved with grant dollars alone.

Mural Arts believe that art ignites change. Mural Arts creates art with others to transform places, individuals, communities and institutions. Through this work they establish new standards of excellence in the practice of public and contemporary art. Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Scattergood Foundation have a long history of working together around the evaluation and impact of mural making. Currently, the two organizations are working in collaboration with Mental Health Partnerships in program planning and evaluation of a new Same Day Work program in Philadelphia.
