Each Spring and Fall, the Foundation organizes a volunteer clean-up day to help spruce up the 100-acre garden campus of Friends Hospital and the Scattergood Foundation. These clean-up days are greatly appreciated by the Foundation, Friends Hospital patients, staff and visitors.

We seek volunteers to participate in light gardening tasks such as raking, weeding, and picking up debris from around the campus. Please invite your family, friends, church groups, Scout troops and neighbor associations to come and join us for the day.  Hours can be accredited towards school community service requirements. Our hungry gardeners will be provided a delicious light lunch and bottled water will be available throughout the day.
