The Thomas Scattergood Behavioral Health Foundation and the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation believe that now more than ever philanthropic support in the area of policy is critical to improving the health outcomes for all. The two foundations have commissioned a series of six papers that address ways to continue and protect the recent progress of behavioral health policy.
On January 30, 2017 a consortium of experts in mental health and addictions care met in Philadelphia to discuss the development of a series of papers on behavioral health policy that aim to influence ongoing deliberations around health care reform. The group consisted of strategic and tactical experts, who provided input on prioritization of topics and guidance on how to craft papers to promote effective advocacy. The papers will be posted here online as they become available. Please continue to visit the site for the release of additional papers!
